Privacy
What CalculateFox does and does not collect, what the server sees, which analytics run, and what changes when advertising is switched on.
The short version
Your inputs never leave your browser. There are no accounts, no uploads and no server-side calculation. We cannot see what you typed, and there is nothing to delete because nothing was stored.
What runs in your browser
Every calculator is JavaScript that executes on your device. The result is computed locally; the page does not send your date of birth, salary or fuel price anywhere. You can verify this by opening the network panel of your browser’s developer tools and watching that no request is made while you type.
What the server does see
Serving a page still involves a request. Like any website behind Cloudflare, the edge sees the usual technical data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, time — and keeps it in operational logs for security and abuse prevention. That is infrastructure, not analytics, and it is not linked to anything you calculated.
Analytics
The site uses aggregate, cookieless analytics: page views and referrers, no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers, no profile of you. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to at this stage.
Cookies
CalculateFox sets no cookies of its own. Your language is chosen by URL, not by a stored preference, which is why a link to a Turkish page stays Turkish.
When advertising is switched on
The site is designed to be funded by advertising. When ads are enabled, the ad network will set cookies and may use them to personalise ads. At that point:
- a consent banner will appear where the law requires one (EEA, UK, Switzerland);
- this page will name the network and list what it collects;
- the choice to reject personalised ads will be as easy as the choice to accept.
Calculations will remain client-side and unaffected.
